A lot of people asked what this was or thought it was a joke edit because they didn’t scroll down to the multiple posts I’d already made about it so basically the guy who wrote Digimon Tamers (as well as Hellsing, Big O, Serial Experiments Lain and several more) has become a fanatical believer in specifically American conspiracy theories, like he thinks Trump really won the election and 9/11 was an inside job and that our covid vaccines carry government microchips, all of which he thinks are truths being silenced by “political correctness” somehow, so when he wrote a sequel story to the Digimon Tamers series and had people read it live on-stage at a convention, he injected this new battle scene I guess thinking he was sneaking a brave message under the radar of tyranny.
Since his sequel story is being included as bonus material with a Digimon Tamers blu-ray release, fans are left arguing whether Political Correctness is an actual canon Digimon villain

An Ohio public school has been giving students extra credit for watching videos from PragerU, a right-wing website that produces clips of talking heads such as Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro discussing conservative viewpoints, HuffPost has learned.
The PragerU videos — with titles such as “Build the Wall,” “Why the Right Was Right” and “The Left Ruins Everything” — were assigned to a 10th-grade history class at Maumee High School, along with a series of questions about the videos’ “most important messages.”
The assignment came at the same time that the website has tried to gain further influence in K-12 classrooms. Earlier this month, the organization launched a program directly aimed at parents and educators, complete with study guides with sections such as “Conservatives Are the Real Environmentalists” and “The Ferguson Lie,” based on a HuffPost review of the materials.

The homework assignment appeared unrelated to PragerU’s latest venture, called PragerU Educators and Parents, or PREP, which launched several weeks ago. The inception of such a program suggested that these types of assignments may become more prevalent in schools.
Already, “2,000 parents and educators have already signed up for PREP,” Craig Strazzeri, chief marketing officer of PragerU, said in an email to HuffPost.
“We constantly hear from educators and teachers who use our videos in the classroom,” Strazzeri said. He declined to disclose how many public school teachers specifically joined the new program. “Ideally, every school in America would show PragerU videos in the classroom on a regular basis to help educate the next generation.
”PragerU started the PREP program in response to COVID-19-related school shutdowns, which “forced us to take a closer look at what is being taught and not taught across the country,” said Adrienne Johnson, PragerU’s chief of staff and lead of the PREP platform, in a video interview with conservative news channel One America News Network. “America is not being fairly portrayed.

You recall Leo Dicaprio was in that water too, right? You recall that a whole great bunch of men, women, and children who were extras were in that water too, right? Not to mention the water wasn’t just cold enough to make her sick but to cover her in bruises so extensive the make up team took pictures to document them. You realise he’s done shit like this to actors on several other films. Ed Harris punched James Cameron in the face on the set of The Abyss after he ran out of oxygen, gave the signal for it, Camera kept filming, and Harris nearly drowned. Cameron’s reason for it was that he wanted Harris’s panic to be “real”.

Finding out that Frances Dana Barker Gage, a white woman, rewrote Sojourner Truth’s famous speech to be more stereotypically “Southern slave” (complete with slurs and misspellings like dat, dere, dey) when Sojourner Truth was actually from New York and spoke only Dutch until she was almost ten and wouldn’t have actually sounded that way linguistically and decidedly did not use the phrase “Ain’t I A Woman?” at all is…whew. And on top of everything, she embellished details about Sojourner Truth’s life (like the number of children she had/how many of them were sold into slavery), wrote that ST said that she could take beatings like a man, and the reception of the speech in the room (she claims ST was called a n*gg*r, earlier accounts say the room was welcoming).
